The Basics: Who We Are
Philly Star Events (Team PSE) is a multi-award-winning boutique Event Production Company founded in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, PA. Over the years, PSE earned a 4.9 Star rating with The Chamber of Commerce and became a valued "Preferred Vendor" at prestigious Philadelphia area venues, including Penn Museum and One North Broad. We've worked diligently on our craft, successfully providing top-rate, hand-picked entertainers since establishing our business in 2008.
Producing events in the Philadelphia and Tri-State Region (traveling within 90 miles of our center city office location) allows Team PSE to interact with several fantastic people, local businesses, and, from time to time, nationally recognized corporations and media organizations. PSE was honored to work with the production staff from the popular hit TV show, "Queer Eye" for lighting design help during a live taping in Philadelphia, PA.
With specialized training and an understanding of event etiquette, the PSE Team can properly cater to the needs of your wedding, special party, corporate event, or important engagement. We are happy to communicate with your venue staff, caterer, and other vendors to make sure that plans are sensible and well-prepared.

Every year, Philly Star Events proudly takes part in the Philadelphia Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon, bringing the hype and high-energy vibes to the course with DJ Micah at the decks! As the only DJ company rocking the route, we keep runners motivated with an electrifying mix of classic and modern rock hits while local bands cover the other course stops.

PSE on "Queer Eye"

Lock It In –
Once we’ve fine-tuned every detail, you’ll receive a customized quote in your event contract, sent via email.
Insurance Coverage –
We handle paperwork from your venue, and if your venue requires an adjusted Certificate of Insurance (COI), we’ll prepare the document.
Exclusive Planning Tools –
Our user-friendly tools let you create interactive playlists, answer key questions, and build a detailed timeline—all from your phone! Create a music playlist and start curating your perfect soundtrack.
Review Meeting –
As your event approaches [3-4 weeks before the event date], we’ll connect to review name pronunciations, key moments, audio and lighting design arrangements, and important last-minute details to ensure everything is flawlessly executed.
Day-of-Event –
On event day, our team arrives at least an hour early to set up equipment, perform soundchecks or tests, and ensure every detail is flawless—so when the party starts, everything runs seamlessly.
